Corona 19 is not over yet, 

but the epidemic has spread 

to China again.

Following the coronavirus, four 

confirmed cases of Brucella disease 

came out at the veterinary research 

center in Lanzhou,  China, and the laboratory 

and its surrounding areas were rapidly 

infected, and more than 3,000 people 

were infected with 

Brucella disease. 

This is because the waste was spread 

outside in the form of an aerosol. 

It was generated because the waste 

was not properly sterilized while 

using an expired disinfectant.

It is the cause of this infectious disease.
When a person is infected,

Brucella bacteria develops symptoms

such as fever, chills, boredom, fatigue,

and headache over an incubation

period of 3 weeks.

Brucella disease can also occur 

when eating dairy products such as 

unsterilized milk or raw cheese.
Or it is transmitted to humans 

by eating raw meat (infected animals) 

or by contact with body fluids from

 infected animals through the respiratory 

tract when there is contact with

 an infected animal.

 

There are no cases of

human transmission.

 

 

Brucella infection symptoms 

Symptoms vary between livestock and humans. 

 

 

In livestock, females may miscarriage 

due to rupture of the fetal membrane,

 and males develop symptoms of orchitis. 

The mortality rate is as low as 2%,

 but if left untreated, it causes

 spondylitis and osteomyelitis.

Symptoms start within 1 to 2 days

, and if chronic, fever lasts for 1 year.
Brucella is similar to cold and corona

 symptoms, and symptoms such as fever, 

sweating, cough, headache, joint pain 

and muscle pain, fatigue and 

loss of appetite, and 

weight loss may occur.

Brucella treatment 

Ineffective treatment 

 

Current treatments are not effective 

and livestock can be vaccinated 

to prevent them, but infected livestock

 must be slaughtered by law.

 Treatment usually lasts for 6 to 8 weeks, 

and adequate rest and vigorous 

exercise should be avoided.
